NBC Has Canceled Two Of Its New Comedies

A to Z and Bad Judge will be cancelled after the finish of their initial production orders of 13 episodes.

According to Vulture, both Bad Judge and A to Z started off modestly but found themselves outmatched in a tough fight against Scandal. The romantic comedy A to Z never got a hold, premiering with 4.8 million viewers and dropping to 2.6 million at its most recent episode. Despite poor reviews, Bad Judge starring Kate Walsh did somewhat better, with around 6 million viewers tuning in to the first episode before settling around 4 million.

There’s the off-chance that NBC will ask one or both of the shows to stay if they have a last-minute surge, but that’s unlikely to happen.
