Season 18 of ‘The Voice’ Introduces Nick Jonas to the Roster

Season 18 of The Voice is kicking off strong with Nick Jonas in one of the spinning seats. Joining the show, the newest member and singer-song writer is set to replace Adam Levine as one of the coaches in the Spring cycle on NBC.

Nick has already had tremendous success as a solo artist and as a Jonas Brother, being a third of the band that has surged remarkably in popularity once again. Yes, he’s already a member of one of the hottest pop groups, making his unique experience and name a flare that the show can capitalize on. According to Meredith Air, the president of Alternative and Reality at NBC Entertainment, the company was extremely impressed with his musicality, aptitude, and overall passion. Evidently, they added, it really showed in Songland earlier this year, which makes him the right choice and an incredible fit as a coach for the show.

Already excited about the situation, Nick shared earlier about the new gig on The Ellen DeGeneres Show while also promoting his recent single. It’s a positive consensus to most that Nick cares for the content and the music, also stating how individuals of The Voice family “…are an awesome group of individuals, and [how he] can’t wait to help these artists build and hone in to find their unique voices. Upon hearing this, fans of both the long running show and the band have given high praise and support for artist, awaiting his eventual arrival.

Now joining artists like Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton, Nick is up there with some of the most well known artists of the music world. For the acclaim that he’s received in his own musical journey, his popularity and skill is just one contribution to the show that can spice things up for the better. For a long running show like The Voice, changes to the celebrity roster like Nick might be a better fit to entertain the show than some of us expect, but we have yet to see how his charisma and musical experience can pull it off.
