Players get ready, a whole new Dungeons and Dragon adventure campaign is about to come reality. Fantasy fans and tabletop roleplaying enthusiasts have something exciting to look forward to as the third campaign of Dungeon Masters will be taking place in the world of Azeroth, which is a reference to the multiplayer role-playing game, World of Warcraft. A recent trailer gives a little insight on what transpires at the gaming at the gaming table, with the plot of the 11-episoded campaign surrounding the unfortunate Horde guild, trying to prove that they are truly worthy to join the fight against the Lich King.
The cast of Dungeon Masters will star Jasmine Bhullar, Mayanna Berrin (Dispatch, Polly Pocket: Pollydays), Christian Navarro (13 Reasons Why, Matlock), Neil Newbon (Baldur’s Gate 3, Detroit: Become Human), Theo Solomon (007 First Light, Ten of Swords), and Devora Wilde (Crimson Desert, Split Fiction).
Jasmine, who will serve as the head of the campaign went on to state, “,“Long-time WoW fans can expect a lot of nostalgia from this campaign. It is a love letter to some of my favorite moments in the game”. He further adds to his statement,“I think there’s a lot about it that you’ll look back on and hopefully remember fondly, even if it’s just riding a zeppelin to Brill or even having to get your gear repaired after suffering a defeat. I think there’s just little nods in every corner of this campaign that are just little easter eggs for long-time WoW fans to be like ’oh hey, I remember that!’”
This new series truly showcases how the narrative creativity behind Dungeons & Dragons has captured a global audience, demonstrating the franchise’s enduring reach and cultural expansion. The first two episodes of Dungeon Masters: World of Warcraft premiered back in September 23 on the official Dungeon Masters Youtube channel, and will have new episodes released weekly every Wednesday, until the finale which is set for November 25.
