Season three of Paramount+’s action thriller Lioness has gone off without hitch. In its first seven days of streaming, the series has managed to amass 7.1 million viewers according to Variety.
For those who don’t know, Lioness is a series that tells a story about a CIA operative named Joe McNamara who along with her team must attempt to balance their personal and professional lives as the tip of the spear in the agency’s war on terror. According to Variety, the show’s second season was the second most watched series in the U.S. during the week of August 2-8 according to the Nielsen list. The series is also streamed on SkyShowtime in Europe where the third season has outperformed both seasons and is set to return as one of the top five returning premieres ever.
