Netflix Announces ‘Luke Cage’ Season 2

The man with unbreakable skin is getting a second season.

Deadline reports that Netflix has just announced season 2 of Luke Cage, the streaming service’s third original Marvel series. The announcement was made at Comic Con Brazil.

No premiere date was given, though a short teaser was posted on the series’ and Marvel Entertainment’s Twitter pages.

Luke Cage stars Mike Colter, Simone Missick, Theo Rossi, Alfre Woodard, Jaiden Kaine, Rosario Dawson, Ron Cephas Jones, Mahershala Ali, Karen Pittman, and Erik LaRay Harvey. The Netflix and Marvel series, from showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker, centers on future Defender and Harlem hero Luke Cage as he uses his superstrength and unbreakable skin to become a hero for hire. The series debuted all thirteen episodes of its first season on September 30th, 2016 to positive reviews.
