Eva Longoria Sells Two New Shows

Deadline reported that the Eva Longoria’s UnbeliEVAble Entertainment production company has just sold two new TV projects: a comedy at NBC and a drama at Lifetime.

The new NBC sitcom will be starring Erik Rivera, a young stand-up comedian. The show will be based on his life. Longoria, Peter Murrieta, Scott Ellis and Ben Spector will all direct and executive produce the comedy.

As for Lifetime’s drama, it’ll be named Blackout and focuses on a woman who returns home after ten years and a failed career, trying to make amends with her estranged family. Elle Triedman (Revenge‘s writer) is set to pen its script.

Both shows are expected to air next season.
