AMC to Deliver a New Supernatural Horror Series ‘NOS4A2’

AMC has launched many successful TV shows in the past including “Breaking Bad,” one of TV’s most thrilling drama series. And AMC continues to deliver with engaging edge-of-your-seat drama shows like “The Walking Dead,” “Fear the Walking Dead,” “Mad Men,” and “Better Call Saul.”

According to Deadline, AMC is currently developing a new show called “NOS4A2.” The supernatural horror series is based on the bestselling novel by Joe Hill whose professional written work includes Horns, an additional popular novel of his and Locke & Key a comic book series.

“NOS4A2” will be produced by Michael Eisner’s Tornante TV and AMC Studios. A writer hasn’t officially been confirmed for the adaptation.

The upcoming supernatural horror series revolves around character Victoria “Vic” McQueen, a young woman who is incredibly gifted when it comes to tracking and finding lost things. However, this gift is not a gift that keeps on giving. In fact, her unique talent is steadily obliterating her mind. She eventually seeks help which is when she comes across someone with powers similar to hers. This someone is psychopath Charlie Manx who has somehow lived for a century by abducting children in his 1938 Rolls-Royce Wraith (license plate: NOS4A2). His eerie vehicle drains his passengers of their souls which keeps him young. But, when the psychotic/supernatural being kidnaps Vic’s son, she goes to great lengths to do whatever she can to bring him back from the horrific world that rests just underneath the surface of the earth.

The book was published in 2013 by William Morrow and it ranked at No. 5 on the New York Times Best Seller List.
