Zooey Deschanel and Sophia Rossi will executive produce a half-hour animated comedy, Queen of Everything, put into development by Fox.
Reported exclusively by Deadline, the animated comedy comes from their Miss Hawkins banner. The series comes from 20th Century Fox TV where Miss Hawkins has a first look-deal.
Ali Waller (American Dad, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon) wrote and executive produced Queen of Everything, a workplace comedy with a fairytale theme. It will center on the evil queen coming into power and realizing the hard work that goes into running a Queendom, especially with no people skills or friends. Her staff will try to help her change her ways.
Both Deschanel and Rossi have sold projects to Fox and NBC.
Waller is repped by CAA and Felker Toczek. Deschanel is with CAA and Hansen Jacobson. Rossi is repped by UTA, 3 Arts, and Ziffren Brittenham.
