Prime Video’s ‘The Boys’ Reveal Official Fourth Season Trailer During CCXP

According to Deadline, Prime Video’s The Boys has just revealed the official trailer for its fourth installment. On May third, during CCXP in Mexico City, fans attending the event were surprised by the reveal of the much-anticipated trailer. The Emmy award-winning series is scheduled to premiere on the streamer on June 13, 2024. 

The official trailer for the fourth season of The Boys is below.

According to Prime Video, the season will start with a three-episode premiere followed by one episode each week. This will continue until the season’s final episode on Thursday, July 18th. The season will be composed of a total of eight episodes and will be streamed exclusively on Prime Video in 240 countries and territories around the world. 

The Boys is a superhero-based series, that takes a spin on conventional superheroes. In the universe of the series being a hero is now a brand that is marketed to the masses. This has made many heroes corrupted not only by their power but also by their new celebrity status. 

According to Prime Video, the fourth season the world is on the brink. *Spoilers Ahead* Victoria Neuman is now closer than ever to reaching the Oval Office all while being under the thumb of Homelander. Butcher, with only a few months to live, has lost so much, including Becca’s son and his job. Butcher is the leader of The Boys, who have  been fed up, with how things have gone and all the lies. Although with only more pain to come, the team must find a way to stand together to save the world. 

The cast of the series includes Antony Starr (Gen V), Erin Moriarty (Blood Father), Chace Crawford (Gossip Girl), Karen Fukuhara (Suicide Squad), and Claudia Doumit (Timeless), who participated in the panel at CCXP. Other cast members include Karl Urban (Doom), Jack Quaid (My Adventures with Superman), Jessie T. Usher (Smile), Laz Alonso (My Dad the Bounty Hunter), and many others. 

The Boys is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film, and Point Grey Pictures.
