Trailer for ‘Loki’ Season Two Breaks Records For Disney+ with 80 Million Views

According to Deadline, the first trailer for season two of Marvel Studios’ Loki has hit a new milestone by becoming the biggest online trailer debut ever for any series on Disney+. The trailer has received 80 million views since its release on Monday morning.

Season one of Loki, which debuted on Disney+ on June 9, 2021 and received six Emmy nominations, is still Marvel Studios’ most watched series on the streaming service.

The trailer feature’s Tom Hiddleston’s (Crimson Peak, The Night Manager) titular Loki, the God of Mischief, getting caught in some time-slipping as well as the debut of O.B., Ke Huy Quan’s (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, The Goonies) new character.

Along with Quan and Hiddleston, the series stars Jonathon Majors (Creed III, Devotion) as Kang the Conqueror, Sophia Di Martino (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Flowers) as Sylvie, Owen Wilson (Zoolander, Wedding Crashers) as Mobius M. Mobius, Tara Strong (The Fairly OddParents, Teen Titans) as Miss Minutes, Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Beyond the Lights, The Girl Before) as Ravonna, Sasha Lane (The Crowded Room, Conversations with Friends) as Hunter C-20, Richard E. Grant (Jack and Sarah, The Lesson) as Classic Loki, Cailey Fleming (Imaginary Friends, The Walking Dead) as young Sylvie, Eugene Cordero (The Mule, Golden Arm) as Casey, Tessa Thompson (Creed, Thor: Ragnarok) as Valkyrie, Mark Ruffalo (Just Like Heaven, 13 Going on 30) as Bruce Banner, Wunmi Mosaku (Lovecraft Country, We Own This City) as B-15, Frank Grillo (The Purge: Anarchy, Boss Level) as Crossbones, Jack Veal (The Corrupted, My Name is Lenny) as Kid Loki, Josh Fadem (Better Call Saul, Reservation Dogs) as Martin, Clark Gregg (Florida Man, Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D) as Phil Coulson, Deobia Oparei (7 Seconds, The Presence) as Boastful Loki, and Maximiliano Hernández (Item 47, Stargirl) as Jasper Sitwell.
