‘The Walking Dead’ Updates: Maggie’s Return and ‘The Walking Dead: World Beyond’ Releases First Trailer

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, The Walking Dead had to delay its Season 10 finale and is instead airing a special later in 2020, according to Comicbook. Season 10 of the long-running apocalyptic drama came to a finish following its 15th episode, “The Tower,” after it was not feasible to finish the finale by the planned Sunday, April 12 date due to the lack of access to its post-production studios.

Despite the postponed date for the finale, the series released a preview trailer for this upcoming special episode after the conclusion of Sunday’s 15th episode that shows the return of fan-favorite Maggie, portrayed by Lauren Cohan (The Boy), who has not been seen since the ninth season. The two-minute-long teaser prompts the return of The Walking Dead series regular as she learns of the tragedies that have fallen on her friends at the hands of The Whisperers. The network has not released an expected date for its season finale due to further regulations being placed on Americans during this pandemic.
