Netflix Renews ‘Sweet Magnolias’ For Season Four

According to Deadline, Netflix has renewed romantic drama Sweet Magnolias for a season four. The season will be 10 episodes long. Season three of Sweet Magnolias premiered on Netflix on July 20.

Season three premiered at number on in the Global Top 10 and the series has been on the list for 10 weeks in more than 60 countries over the three seasons, Deadline reported.

Sweet Magnolias is based on best-selling author Sherryl Woods’ (Home in Carolina, Welcome To Serenity) series of novels of the same name. It follows three lifelong best friends Dana Sue, Helen, and Maddie in a small town in South Carolina known as Serenity as they deal with careers, relationships, and family.

The series stars Heather Headley (The Lion King, Breakin’ All the Rules) as Helen, Brooke Elliott (Drop Dead Diva, What Women Want) as Dana Sue, and JoAnna Garcia Swisher (Once Upon a Time, Freaks and Geeks) as Maddie. The cast also includes Justin Bruening (Knight Rider, All My Children) as Cal Maddox, Jamie Lynn Spears (Zoey 101, All That) as Noreen Fitzgibbons, Anneliese Judge (Where’s Rose, Sweet Magnolias) as Annie Sullivan, Logan Allen (Bernie The Dolphin, Creepshow) as Kyle Townsend, Chris Klein (Election, American Pie) as Bill Townsend, Carson Rowland (I Am Frankie, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin) as Tyler Townsend, Brandon Quinn (Big Wolf on Campus, The Fosters) as Ronnie Sullivan, and Dion Johnstone (Ties That Bind, Star Falls) as Erik Withley.

It also features Brittany L.
