NBC Renews ‘Chicago Fire’, ‘Chicago PD’ and ‘Grimm’

The network revealed earlier today three of the shows that will be joining the pilots next season, says TVLine.

As expected, Chicago Fire, its spin-off Chicago PD and also the police procedural fantasy drama Grimm were all renewed for another season.

Although there is no word on whether these shows have been renewed for full seasons or only half, each is expected to have been renewed for another complete season, which means 20+ episodes, starting in 2014’s fall until 2015’s spring.

Parks & Recreation, which had already been “informally” renewed by NBC’s bosses during TCA’s press tour, was also confirmed to be renewed for a seventh season.

This way, these four shows join The Voice, The Blacklist and Celebrity Apprentice, which had all already been renewed earlier in the season.
