‘Meet the Press’ Launches Digital Series ‘Meet the Press Express’

Meet the Press has gone digital with their new digital interview series, Meet the Press Express.

The new digital series comes from GE and program moderator, David Gregory, and a rotating team of NBC News journalist will host. The weekly series will have videos from seasoned and new reporters from different news organizations around Washington. They will engage in smart, casual conversations about the driving force behind the weeks political agenda.

The first installment of the series will have Gregory sitting down with The Atlantic’s Molly Ball, Roll Call’s Christina Bellantoni and Washington Post’s Wesley Lowery to discuss Scott Brown’s New Hampshire Senate run, the possibility of the Senate falling to the Republicans in the 2014 midterm elections and politics meets March Madness.

Meet the Press has always been about sharp, engaging dialogue with top voices in the political sphere, and Meet the Press Express is the newest way we’re driving the discussion forward on every platform,” said Rob Yarin, Executive Producer of Meet the Press. “We want to be the place people turn to for information on pressing political issues, whether it’s on TV or online, and we’re thrilled to work with GE to bring this new digital experience to our audience.”

Meet the Press Express is just the latest of many online and social offerings others include #TweetThePress, PRESS Pass video interview series of authors, filmmakers and cultural leaders, and Meet the Press magazine on Flipboard.

Viewers can catch the Meet the Press Express on the MTP 24/7 section of the NBC News website.
