Francia Raisa Joins Lifetime’s ‘Unreal’

The Secret Life Of The American Teenager alumna just got cast in a new pilot for Lifetime.

The Hollywood Reporter learned that the twenty-five year old joined Unreal, a new show that Lifetime will air next season.

This way, Raisa joins Shiri Appleby and Breeda Wool, who had also been cast in the new drama.

Unreal will follow a competition dating series, focusing specifically on the life of a young woman (Appleby), whose job is to manipulate the contestants’ lives in order to get enough drama to get the show going. Raisa will play Inez, a lesbian who is one of the producers of the show. Wool will be Faith, a contestant on the show inside the show.

Raisa’s resumé includes not only Secret Life of The American Teenager, but also The Mindy Project and CSI, among others.
