ABC is turning up the heat by releasing exciting news surrounding their hit comedy-drama series, High Potential. According to Screenrant, the series has gathered a huge audience due to its unique and suspenseful narrative focusing on the journey of Morgan, played by Kaitlin Olson (Vacation, Hacks), who works with the LAPD as a consultant solving mystery cases while at the same time finding clues about the disappearance of her late husband, Roman. It could be speculated that fans will not be seeing much of Wagner throughout the new season, as Howey is stepping down as one of the series regulars.
The second season left the audience on a major cliffhanger with Wagner, played by Steve Howey (Shameless, Day Shift), informing Morgan that he was meeting with a possible contact who had information on Ronan. Later, she found that he was brutally stabbed; Morgan called for aid, leading to Wagner’s survival in the air. Stated by Screenrant, surely the beginning of the new season will focus on the team trying to figure out on the mysterious individual that tried to kill Wagner and their connection to Roman.
Reported by Screenrant, the audience can suspect that the third season will be filled with the same partnerships of Morgan with Detective Karadac, played by Daniel Sunjata (The Stand, Echo); Daphne, played by Javicia Leslie (Batwoman, Double Life); Lev “Oz” Ozdil, played by Deniz Akdeniz (Ghost, Dumb Money); and Selena, played by Judy Reyes (Scrubs, Smile).
The upcoming season will not only delve deeper into Rowan’s ongoing mysterious disappearance, but also test the growing romantic tension and partnership between Morgan and Karadac, pitting the LAPD’s Major Crimes against powerful, dangerous criminals. Season three of High Potential is scheduled to make its grand debut on February 14 right after the Super Bowl Game. While audience await for the premiere, the first and second season of High Potential on Hulu.
