Eva Longoria Redeveloping Mother-Daughter Legal Drama With NBC

Eva Longoria’s production company has set up its fourth drama for the development season, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The project titled Vega v. Vega is described as a female-driven legal drama that revolves around a brilliant, young, successful lawyer who suddenly finds herself forced to go into a practice with her mother, a pioneering female attorney with who she has a love/hate relationship.

UnbeliEVAble originally set the script for The CW in 2011 but it did not move forward. NBC has recently picked it up.

Laurie Silverstein will pen the script and co-executive produce alongside Longoria, George W. Perkins, Sunta Izzicupo and UnbeliEVAble’s Ben Spector. Elizabeth Bradley is set to executive produce.

UnbeliEVAable is repped by CAA.
