The new season of Doctor Who, which will follow the journey of the Doctor, played by Ncuti Gatwa (Barbie) and his companion has release the names of the episodes.According to Deadline, the new season will premiere simultaneously on BBC iPlayer and Disney+. On May 11th, the first two episodes will be available on BBC iPlayer, while for those outside the United Kingdom, it can be streamed on May 10th on Disney+ at 7:00 p.m. ET. The upcoming season will be produced by BBC studio (Bluey).
The season will start with an episode titled “Space Babies.” This episode is directed by Julie Anne Robinson (The Last Song), written by Russell T Davies (It’s a Sin), and will feature Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story) as Jocelyn. Other episode titles, as per Deadline, include “The Devil’s Chord,” “Boom,” “73 Yards,” “Dot and Bubble,” “Rogue,” “The Legend of Ruby Sunday,” and “Empire of Death.”
“It’s been amazing to see the whole world appreciate Golda’s talents, because of Bridgerton, and it’s been an absolute joy to invite her to Cardiff to help launch Ncuti and Millie’s first season,” said Davies (It’s a Sin).
According to Deadline, the other guest that are confirmed to appear in the new season will consists of Callie Cooke (Britannia), Dame Siân Phillips (Dune), Alexander Devrient (Outpost 11), Bhav Joshi (Wedding Season), Majid Mehdizadeh-Valoujerdy (Chosen), Tachia Newall (Dirty God) and Caoilinn Springall (Citadel). Previously announced stars include Michelle Greenidge (Cruella), Jonathan Groff (Frozen), and fan-favorite Bonnie Langford (Bugsy Malone) returning as Melanie Bush.
The release of the episode list of the new season has sparked the excitements of Whovians across the world, as they prepare for the debut.
