Disney+ and Marvel’s ‘WandaVision’ Releases New Trailer Day Before Its Premiere

The first television series from Marvel Studios and Disney+ is ready to premiere its first two episodes on January 15. However, despite the impending release, new trailer has been unveiled for the series that introduces some of the first images and definition for Emma Caulfield’s (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) character for the program, according to Screen Rant. Although her role is still unknown and unspecified, the new trailer gives the audience a quick shot of the actress living amongst the idyllic, but also unnerving suburbia that the show exists within.

WandaVision is the first television series of Marvel Studios in collaboration with Disney+ and will kickstart the television division of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) Phase Four. Starring Elizabeth Olsen (Wind River) and Paul Bettany (A Knight’s Tale) reprising their roles as Wanda/Scarlet Witch and Vision respectively, the series is set to begin its first season run of nine episodes, concluding its weekly release on March 5. Additional cast includes the likes of Randall Park (The Interview) and Kat Dennings (2 Broke Girls) making their returns to the MCU through their respective characters of FBI agent Jimmy Woo from Ant-Man and the Wasp and Darcy Lewis in Thor. Other stars feature Teyonah Parris (Mad Men) as Monica Rambeau and Kathryn Hahn (Step Brothers) as Agnes.

In correspondence with this new trailer, Marvel hosted live stream virtual panel for the impending series launch the day prior as well. WandaVision will act as the first installment of many future Disney+ and Marvel Studios television series such as Loki, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, What If…?, and many more.

Although announced recently as a piece of the show’s cast, Caulfield’s exact name has still not been revealed to the public, yet her character has been placed in the scenery of the off-putting suburban environment.
