Days Of Our Lives has been extended until September 2016, marking its 50th year on TV in November 2015.
According to Deadline, NBC extended the daytime drama an additional two years. The daytime drama has received 232 Daytime Emmy nominations and won 36, including the recent win for Outstanding Daytime Drama.
The soap is set in the fictional Midwestern town of Salem and focuses on the Brady, Horton and DiMera families. The daytime drama explores romance, adventure, mystery, comedy and drama.
Days Of Our Lives’ current season has ranked its highest among women age 18-59 in three years and in viewers in four years.
