Charity Dungeons And Dragons Tournament Features Matthew Lillard And Deborah Ann Woll

Champions of the Realm is a charity tournament that pits eight celebrity players against each other in an intense five round dungeons and dragons (D&D) match. Playing in this very tournament are some very notable names in the entertainment industry such as Matthew Lillard (Scooby-Doo, Scream), Deborah Ann Woll (Daredevil, Escape Room), and Mark Meer (Mass Effect, Bucketheads).

The three celebrities, while experienced D&D players themselves, are joined by seasoned D&D players Omega Jones, Satine Phoenix, Alicia Marie, Noura Ibrahim, and Anna Prosser.

All players will be using characters from the Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms storyline. The event will be seven episodes long and premiere live on the official D&D YouTube and Twitch channels on Jan. 5 at 8pm eastern standard time.

Recently, Lillard reprised his role from the 1999 romantic comedy, She’s All That, in the 2021 remake on Netflix, He’s All That. He also has been playing his arguably most famous character, Shaggy Rodgers, in the most recent reboot of the Scooby-Doo franchise, Scooby-Doo Guess Who.

Woll on the other hand has recently been in the news as her former Daredevil costars, Vincent D’Onofrio (Jurassic World, Men In Black) and Charlie Cox (Stardust, Casanova), have been confirmed to return as their respective characters from that show, Kingpin and Matt Murdock. These revivals have led fans to cry out for Woll herself to return as her Daredevil character, Karen Page.
