According to Deadline, Cara Delevingne (Only Murders in the Building, Carnvil Row) has joined the cast of season 12 of FX’s American Horror Story as a series regular. The cast includes Kim Kardashian (Ocean’s 8, Keeping Up with the Kardashians) and Emma Roberts (Scream Queens, It’s Kind of a Funny Story). More casting announcements are expected in the coming months.
Season 12 of American Horror Story will be written and showrun by Halley Feiffer (It Had to Be You, Appropriate Behavior) and is based on thriller novel Delicate Condition written by Danielle Valentine (Survive the Night, The Haunted). The novel is described as a feminist update of Rosemary’s Baby and follows Anna Alcott, an indie actress who is desperate for a family but becomes paranoid that someone is sabotaging her IVF treatment so she cannot have a baby.
Nothing regarding the characters of the cast members has been revealed.
American Horror Story is an anthology series created by Ryan Murphy (The Watcher, Glee) and Brad Falchuk. (Pose, 9-1-1). Season one, AHS: Murder House, premiered on FX on October 5, 2011 and starred Evan Peters (Kick-Ass, WandaVision), Sarah Paulson (Bird Box, Glass), Jessica Lang (King Kong, Marlowe), Taissa Farmiga (The Bling Ring, The Final Girls), Connie Britton (Friday Night Lights, Nashville), and Dylan McDermott (The Practice, Stalker).
Previous seasons of American Horror Story have starred Billie Lourd (Booksmart, Ticket to Paradise), Lady Gaga (A Star is Born, House of Gucci), Lily Rabe (Shrinking, Love & Death), Finn Wittock (La La Land, Deep Water), Cody Fern (House of Cards, Father Stu), Angela Bassett (Black Panther, Waiting to Exhale), Kathy Bates (Misery, Disjointed), Leslie Grossman (What I Like About You, The Good Place), and Adina Porter (The 100, Outer Banks).
The show spawned a spinoff series, American Horror Stories, which premiered on FX on July 15, 2021.
