Arm Wrestling is Headed to AMC

AMC announced Wednesday that it has green-lit an unscripted series called King of Arms. The show will shine a light into the world of competitive arm wrestling.

The show is coming from award-winning producers Matt Renner and Ethan Prochnick of The Deadliest Catch and Dan Ilani from Undertow Films. King of Arms will follow the lives of five arm wrestling clubs from across the country and take viewers on the road with the teams as they sacrifice everything in order to win.

The 10 episodes of the hour-long series will all end in a wrestling match. According to Vulture, the show will premiere in the in the first quarter of next year, which is the second half of this season of The Walking Dead. AMC has high hopes for the series, expecting it to join the string of recent hits including Breaking Bad, Mad Men, and The Walking Dead.
