Amazon Releases New Trailer for ‘Daisy Jones & The Six’

Rock and Roll and love triangles go hand in hand in this new Amazon series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amazon released new trailer for their new show Daisy Jones & The Six. The show stars Riley Keough (The Terminal List, The Devil All the Time) and Sam Claflin (Catching Fire, Enola Holmes) as the protagonists.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show will be an adaptation of the best-selling novel of the same name by Taylor Jenkins Reid (The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, Malibu Rising). Daisy Jones & The Six tells the story of the rise and fall of popular rock band in the 1970s fronted by Daisy Jones, played by Keough, and Billy Dunne, played by Claflin. Despite their popularity and success, the band unexpectedly announced their break up, deciding to keep the reason for their implosion a secret for decades. 

The new trailer gives more insight into the story of the band and the reason why they decided to go their separate ways. In the trailer, tensions rise as Billy is forced to adjust when Daisy joins the band, leading to a complicated musical partnership. Unexpected chemistry both personally and artistically, changes their relationship as the band and Billy’s wife Camila, played by Camila Morrone (Valley Girl, Death Wish), watch on. 

Other cast members participating in this rock and roll drama include Will Harrison (This Is a Film About My Mother) as Graham Dunne; Suki Waterhouse (Daliland, Seance) as Karen Sirko; Josh Whitehouse (The Knight Before Christmas, 1921) as Eddie Roundtree;  Sebastian Chacon (Emergency, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels) as Warren Rhodes; Nabiyah Be (Black Panther) as Simone Jackson, and Tom Wright (The Locksmith, That’s Amor) as Teddy Price. The limited series will also count on the special guest appearance of Timothy Olyphant (Amsterdam, The Book of Boba Fett) as Rod Reyes.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show will feature original songs written and produced by Blake Mills (Joy, Curt), a Grammy-nominated producer. The show’s original music will be released alongside the series by Atlantic Records via the Aurora album. 

Last month, the audience got to listen to the first of the original songs for the show “Regret Me” which was featured in the teaser trailer. This new trailer features the second single, out of twenty-four created for Daisy Jones & The Six, called “Look at Us Now (Honeycomb).”

Daisy Jones & The Six is set to premiere on March 3 on Prime Video. Don’t forget to rock on with the new trailer below.
