Yvonne Strahovski has been plugged as a lead in the ABC ten episode series called The Astronaut Wives Club, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Strahovski’s credits include 24: Live Another Day and Chuck. Strahovski is no stranger to space (although Astronaut Wives focuses on the wives of spacefarers and their respective careers) as she was the voice and the model for the galactic do-it-all agent Miranda Lawson in Bioware’s Mass Effect series.
Astronaut Wives is a closer look at the other halves of America’s final pioneers based on a novel by Lily Koppel. As the novel goes, the women of Astronaut Wives became media darlings throughout their otherwise ordinary lives. With or without their astronaut husbands, the women remained close friends after fifty years. Astronaut Wives promises a female perspective on one of the most important periods of American Scientific Development.
