FX’s sci-fi prequel series Alien: Earth has been updated for second season, and its cast is expanding further. According to Screenrant,, the setting of the series is set two years before the first movie of the franchise, and focuses on the perspective on the Lost Boys, a group of synthetic and human hybrids, who deal with familiar and new alien lifeforms that have crashed down, which include the xenomorph.
The ending of the series saw a dramatic power shift, in which the Lost Boys started to rebel against their once human companions and to escape the facility, and Wendy who is leading the charge had bonded with the large and baby xenomorph making them her security. Reported by Screenrant, the Game of Thrones stars that will be joining the upcoming journey of the series will include Alex Lawther (Snow White and the Huntsman, The Hanging Sun), who portrayed Prince Maekar Targaryen in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, as well as Jerome Flynn (The Dark Tower, Black Mirror), who was Bronn. It is unknown on wether they will be an ally or enemy toward the return cast, which includes Sydney Chandler (Pistol, Chemistry) as Wendy and Alex Lawther (Black Mirror, Andor) as Joe.
Stated by Screenrant, Lawther and Flynn are the only star from Game of Thrones that have been sought out for the second, as Peter Dinklage (Elf, Pixels) will be making an appearance, but whose role is currently under wraps.The production of the ucpoming season has already began and the location of it will be in London. Ridley Scott (The Martian, Blade Runner) first became the series executive producer back in the first season and sure to return in the second season.
