Watch Showtime’s Official Season 7 Trailer for ‘Shameless,’ Plus New Poster Art

Showtime recently released new poster art and the official trailer for the seventh season of Shameless. The popular series is the network’s number one comedy and stars Oscar nominee and Emmy winner William H. Macy as Frank Gallagher and Golden Globe nominee Emmy Rossum as his daughter, Fiona. In addition, the show also stars Jeremy Allen White, Ethan Cutkosky, Shanola Hampton, Steve Howey, Emma Kenney, Cameron Monaghan and Isidora Goreshter.

The seventh season of the series picks up a month after last season’s finale. Viewers will see the Gallaghers preparing for another scorching summer on the south side of Chicago. The family always manages to get by, however this season will show some of them finally getting a break in life, and new life changes will occur for several of them as well.

In the series, Franky (Macy) wakes up from a coma, and learns that his loved ones threw him in the river. And so, he declares war, but Fiona (Rossum) to too preoccupied with her own life to worry about Frank’s. Fiona moves forward, after the sixth season revealed a major betrayal. Nothing and no one will stand in her way as the new manager of Patsy’s. Gallagher Golden Boy Lip (White) completes his time in rehab and comes out with a new perspective on alcoholism and a grim vision of what’s to come for him. And as for Ian (Monaghan), who was once fairly unstable, he is now thriving as an EMT and he’s very content with his relationship. Debbie (Kenney) is still trying to figure out how to be a good mother to a young Franny, while Carl (Cutkosky) has some huge decisions to make as he grows.

The upcoming season will feature recurring special guest stars Sharon Lawrence, Tate Ellington, Ruby Modine, Arden Myrin, June Squibb and Alicia Coppola.
