The opening four minutes of this week’s The Walking Dead have made their way online for the diehard fans who continue tuning in each week.
Promos for episode 11, Dead or Alive Or, tease “Daryl finds himself in bad company as his group heads to the Hilltop; Gabriel’s faith gets tested.” From the video above, it appears some of Daryl’s (Norman Reedus) struggles may come from his own group.
As Tara’s (Alanna Masterson) gripe with Dwight (Austin Amelio) continues, she takes it to another level by trying to feed him to a walker as the group makes their way to the Hilltop. Long-lost Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) and Dr. Carson (R. Keith Harris) make an appearance using antiquated maps to find their way to the Hilltop as well. Unfortunately, Father Gabriel’s illness is affecting his eyesight as well making it even more of a challenge.
TWD continues to struggle with its ratings even after gaining a few notches for the mid-season premiere. According to a piece in Variety, the show’s numbers are the lowest since season 1. While the numbers have dipped, the 8.3 million viewers still make it the most-watched cable TV show.
