Hulu released a new teaser trailer for season two of Handmaid’s Tale. The second season of the Emmy winning drama series is going to be shaped by Offred’s (Elisabeth Moss) pregnancy and an ongoing fight to free her future child from the dystopian horrors of Gilead. Offred will be an even bigger rebel during season two. After saying the rules with disgust she said, “Wear the red dress. Wear the wings. Shut your mouth. Be a good girl. Roll over and spread your legs. Yes ma’am. May the Lord open.”

Aunt Lydia’s favorite saying is “Gilead is within you.” According to Deadline, in season two, Offred and the other characters will fight against or be succumbed to this dark truth. One emotion that is abundantly clear in this teaser trailer is rage. Concluding with the statement from Offred, “Seriously, what the actual fuck?”
The series itself has added multiple new characters to the show. Cherry Jones (an Emmy winning actress) will guest star as Offred’s mother. Marisa Tomei (an Oscar winning actress) will play as the wife of a commander and Clea DuVall will be the wife to Alexis Bledel’s character. The rest of the cast members are: Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Samira Wiley, Bledel, Ann Dowd, Max Minghella, Madeline Brewer, O-T Fagbenle, and Amanda Bruge.
The second season will begin streaming on Wednesday, April 25 with the first two episodes.
