TVGN recently announced new additions to the network’s fall lineup, including two new unscripted series and two new celebrity-driven projects, reports Indiewire.
Among the new projects is the Wendy Williams Project, which will follow the talk show host as she gives her audiences a look behind the curtain at her personal life during the most challenging periods of her career. This includes following Wendy as she embarks on her Broadway debut in the musical production of Chicago and prepares for her role in the prison matron Mama Morton.
The Wendy Williams Project will premiere this fall. It has been described as “a candid, up-close presentation of one of the most captivating personalities in show business today.”
Wendy Williams Productions will produce the show, with Wendy Williams, Kevin Hunter, Lisa Knapp and Jill Ramsey serving as executive producers.
In addition, the cameras will follow Wendy while she tapes her daily talk show, The Wendy Williams Show, which has been picked up through the 2016-17 season. The show tapes at the same time as her Broadway rehearsals.
