The 30 Rock alum was just cast by his former co-star Tina Fey to play a role in Tooken, says TVLine.
Tooken, whose leading lady is Ellie Kemper, is about a woman who “escapes from a doomsday cult and starts life over in New York City.”
Tituss Burgess will play Kemper’s best friend in the show, a homosexual man who is a survivor from the same cult she escaped from.
The new NBC comedy, which will premiere next Fall, is written and executive produced by Tina Fey, alongside Robert Carlock, who was also her writing/producing partner in 30 Rock.
Besides playing D’Fawn in 30 Rock, Burgess has also played guest roles in shows like Royal Pains and Blue Bloods.
