John Klepper Debuts as New Correspondent on ‘The Daily Show With Jon Stewart’

Upright Citizens Brigade regular John Klepper will make his debut as the newest correspondent on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show With Jon Stewart tonight, March 3, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Jon Stewart’s fake news team has added a new member and he will make his debut tonight, reporting “live” from Ukraine. John Klepper has become a regular performer at New York City’s Upright Citizens Brigade for three years. UCB is an improv, sketch and standup company, performing seven nighttime comedy shows a week in New York City and LA. He frequently co-wrote sketches with his wife, Laura Grey, and even co-wrote and starred in a web series together titled, Engaged.

Klepper will be joining the team made up of Jason Jones, Samantha Bee, Aasif Mandvi and Jessica Williams. He will be replacing longtime Daily Show correspondent John Oliver, who left the show in December to create his own weekly HBO show, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.

Klepper will make his first appearance tonight, Monday March 3 at 11 p.m. EST on Comedy Central.
