The Voice Season Finale: New Winner Announced

The Voice aired its season finale last night.  The two-hour finale had special guest appearances, the most surprising of which was Cher–and a new victor was crowned.

Country cutie Danielle Bradbery was declared the winner, as chosen by America.  Rolling Stone reports this 16-year-old girl was coached by Blake Shelton and was crowned the season 4 winner.  Indie rocker Michelle Chamuel took second while the Swon Brothers came in third.

Bradbery has long since been a fan favorite and her songs always soared to the top of the iTunes chart.  However, the competition was intense, as both Chamuel and the Swon Brothers also recently had songs at the top of the iTunes chart.

Chamuel was coached by Usher and EW reports that during the finale, Usher stated that he will not be proud of Chamuel if she wins–he is already proud of her.

Throughout the season, Bradbery displayed nearly perfect pitch and amazing vocal quality.  Her big voice and girl-next-door quality took her to the top.

Huffington Post reports that Bradbery is the youngest singer to ever win the Voice.
