After a long wait, the fans of the HBO hit series could finally watch the official trailer for the fourth season of Game of Thrones.
The trailer, which can be seen at the show’s official website, gives only a taste of what’s to come in this new season, including several battles in King’s Landing, The Wall and Slaver’s Bay, as well as Jaime Lannister reunited with his nephew (who’s in fact his son) Joffrey.
The fourth season will premiere on Sunday, April 6 and is based on the second-half of the third book of the saga A Song Of Ice And Fire by George R. R. Martin.
If everything goes according to the usual plan, the 9th episode of the season will be the one that will leave the fans brokenhearted in a good way.
This upcoming season is expected to fair as well as the last. The third season’s finale averaged 5.4 million viewers, an amazing number for HBO.
