‘The Office’s’ Angela Kinsey Developing New Comedy Series ‘1-800’ For TBS

It’s been almost 3 years since the US version of “The Office” officially ended. The multiple award winning mockumentary TV show is arguably one of the most popular sitcoms in mainstream television. Now lifelong fans of “The Office” have a new show to look forward to that may very well bring back those fond memories of the hit comedy series.

Recently, TV Guide reported that Angela Kinsey the actress who portrayed Angela a.k.a. the grumpy cat lover on “The Office” developed a comedy show which will be loosely based on her own experiences working at a call center. The show is called “1-800” and Kinsey is set to be a writer for the show and will most likely star in the show as well.

According to Deadline, Kinsey sold her semi-autobiographical comedy “1-800” to TBS. There hasn’t been an official premiere date confirmed for the upcoming series.
