‘The Last Of Us’ Becomes Most Pirated TV Show Of 2023

According to ComicBook, the most pirated show of 2023 ended up being HBO’s The Last of Us. This comes from a report from Torrent Freak. This means that it dethroned House of The Dragon, which was last year’s most pirated show

ComicBook plus detailed the entire list of pirated shows in 2023. The second most pirated show wound up being The Mandelorian from Disney+, followed by the third and fourth numbers on the list which were Loki and Ashoka. Number five was Marvel’s Secret Invasion. Six and seven on the list were taken by Silo and Legacy of Monsters from Apple TV. Tulsa King on Paramount+ was number eight, while Gen V on prime video was number nine. Finally, Ted Lasso took the number 10 spot. 

Season one of The Last of Us became a very big success for HBO, with it being nominated for 23 Emmys, says ComicBook. The website also claimed that season two is set to begin production on February 12th of 2024. Showrunner, Craig Martin, said that “We were able to map out all of Season 2, and I also wrote and submitted the script for the first episode and sent it in [to HBO] around 10:30 or 10:40 PM right before the midnight [makes a “kajoomph” sound] and the strike began.”

According to IMDB, the last of us follows “In a hostile, post-pandemic world, Joel and Ellie, brought together by desperate circumstances, must rely on each other to survive a brutal journey across what remains of the United States.” The show streams on HBO and first came out in 2023.

The show stars Pedro Pascal (The Mandelorian), Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones), Gabriel Luna (True Detective), Merle Dandridge (The Flight Attendant), and Anna Torv (Fringe), says the official HBO website.
