‘The Last Kingdom’ Star Adrian Schiller Announced Dead

According to CNN, Adrian Schiller has died. The news came from his agent Amanda Evans. The actor was well known for his role as Aethelhelm in the Netflix historical series The Last Kingdom.

Evans said in a statement to CNN, “It is with the heaviest and saddest hearts that we announce the death of our beloved client, Adrian Schiller, on Wednesday April 3. He has died far too soon, and we, his family and close friends are devastated by the loss.”

Evans continued, said CNN, going on to say that. “A prodigiously talented actor, he had just returned from Sydney, where he had been appearing in the Lehman Trilogy and was looking forward to continuing the international tour in San Francisco. Adrian enjoyed a varied and successful career across all media. Our deepest condolences go to his family, who ask for privacy at this most difficult of times.”

Schiller also had other credits under his name in addition to The Last Kingdom. Some of these credits include shows such as Victoria and Raised by Wolves. CNN also said that Schiller had a number of movie roles as well, including the 2017 live action Beauty and the Beast, Suffragette, Bright Star, and The Danish Girl.

Schiller even had stage performances on his resume, such as The White Factory which he starred in at Marylebone Theatre last year. The theater posted a statement on X, CNN claimed. In the statement, they said that they were “devastated to hear of the passing of the incredible actor.”

Schiller died at the age of 60. CNN reported that at the moment, no Guthrie details have been given on the cause of death, other than Evans saying “his death was sudden and unexpected”.

Fans continue to mourn the death. There is currently no news on the funeral plans.
