Disney and Lucasfilms debut the new villain that will terrorize the Jedi in the new Star Wars: Rebels animated series.
The image was revealed over the weekend at New York’s Comic-Con. The villain is being touted as the Inquisitor, and is hired by Darth Vader to hunt down and eliminate the remaining Jedi forces.
Star Wars: Rebels takes place in between Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV A New Hope, a span of about twenty years.
The show is set to premiere first as an hour-long special on the Disney channel and then airs as a series on Disney XD in 2014. The Hollywood Reporter details that Freddie Prinze Jr. will star.
