The Former TNT Series ‘Tell Me Your Secrets’ Resurrected at Amazon

Never say never. The previously cancelled TNT drama Tell Me Your Secrets has found a new home at Amazon Prime Video. TNT had previously cancelled the series and it seemed to be dead in the water. Now, Amazon has given the thriller a new home according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The series was originally ordered by TNT in 2018 and went into production that same year. After all ten episodes of Tell me Your Secrets had been filmed, TNT decided to walk away from the project. Now it will be available to stream on Amazon Prime in 2021.

The series stars well known television actors Lily Rabe (American Horror Story),  Hamish Linklater (Legion), Enrique Murciano (Without a Trace), and Amy Brenneman (The Leftovers). It also features a large ensemble cast including Stella Baker (The Three Men You Meet at Night), Elliot Fletcher (Shameless), Ashley Madekwe (Salem), Xavier Samuel (Adore), and Chiara Aurelia (Gerald’s Game).

A dark thriller filled with murder and crime, the series follows several characters struggling with their own personal demons. An official synopsis picked up by The Hollywood Reporter states: “Tell Me Your Secrets centers on three characters, each with a mysterious and troubling past: Emma (Rabe), who once looked into the eyes of a killer; John (Linklater), a former serial predator looking for redemption; and Mary (Brenneman), a woman obsessed with finding her missing daughter. Murciano plays Peter, a therapist with seemingly good intentions.”

Brenneman shared her excitement regarding the news on Twitter. Expressing how glad she is to be a part of Tell Me Your Secrets, she posted the announcement of it finally finding a home at Amazon. See her tweet below:

Tell me Your Secrets was created and written by Harriet Warner (Call the Midwife). It’s co-produced by Made Up Stories and Turner’s Studio T. It’s also executive produced by Brenda Papandrea (Big Little Lies), John Polson (Elementary), and Casey Haver (Queen America).
