It’ll soon be time to come in from the quad and ranch it up in front of the TV with some fellow mulattos.
Entertainment Weekly reports that the fourth season of Adult Swim’s bizarre, off-the-wall talk show The Eric Andre Show will return on August 5th at midnight. Andre will be joined once again in his set-destroying and twisted man-on-the-street antics by his impossibly calm co-host Hannibal Buress.
According to EW, the celebrity guests that will endure Andre’s whirlwind of insanity this season include Kelly Osbourne, Amber Rose, Stacey Dash, Howie Mandel, Haley Joel Osment, T.I., Jesse Williams and Jack McBrayer.
The Eric Andre Show is a fever dream of a late-night talk show, with Andre, more often than not, terrifying his celebrity guests with hilarious results. Guests on the show so far have included Ryan Phillipe, Maria Menounos, Krysten Ritter, Dominic Monaghan, James Van Der Beek, Lance Reddick, Chance The Rapper, Scott Porter, Seth Rogen, Jimmy Kimmel, Tyler The Creator and Lauren Conrad (who will probably never be back after what Andre put her through).
In an interview with Maxim that Andre did before the start of season 3, Andre said about the show’s celebrity interviews, “We have this Chinese water torture thing going on, where we’ll have water drip right on the guest’s head from the top of the ceiling. We’ll also stuff a heat duct with old clams and put it under the seat so it reeks like a landfill. It gets really smelly and hot, like Guantanamo Bay. We did that to Krysten Ritter, pumping hot clam air all up into the back of her chair. She was so pissed.”
Along with the announcement of a premiere date for season 4 comes the news of an Eric Andre Live! tour in August and September. Tickets and dates are available on Andre’s site.
