Amazon Prime Series ‘The Boys’ has a new Season 2 Trailer

The Boys is an Amazon Prime Original Series based on a superhero comic book with the same name. The series follows a team of vigilantes who fight back against super heroes who abuse their powers.

Here’s the new teaser trailer for Season 2 of the Amazon Prime TV Series, The Boys

The new trailer shows us the cast who plays The Seven and The Boys in costume and how they left off last season. Lots of blood splatters and violence to make you anticipate the new episodes. Also we see that Giancarlo Esposito is going to be in the new season, who played Gus Fring on Breaking Bad.

The Series follows two groups, The Seven, which is a team of Super heroes owned by Vought International who capitalizes on them, and The Boys who try to keep the corrupted heroes under control.

The Boys are led by Billie Butcher, played by Karl Urban, who hates all super heroes. While The Seven are led by the arrogant Home Lander, played by Antony Starr. The series also follows the new characters who join each team.

Patton Oswalt is also expected to be a special guest on this new Season of The Boys.

 

Simon Pegg also has a recurring role in the series as one of the fathers of The Boys.

Aya Cash is another new addition who is confirmed for the show who’s set to play a super powered Neo Nazi called Stormfront.

The Boys got very good reviews for Season 1, with an 8.8 on IMDB and an 84% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Boys comic book was written by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, while the show is being developed and produced by Eric Kripke and Seth Rogen. Season 1 of The Boys broke streaming records for an Amazon Prime Video Original Series. The Boys Season 2 is 8 episodes long and expected to stream in Summer 2020.
