“The Biggest Loser” Host Says Goodbye After 13 Seasons

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Biggest Loser host of the past 13 seasons, Alison Sweeney is leaving the show.

Hollywood Reporter has confirmed this with producers of the show.

““After an incredible run together, Alison Sweeney will not be returning as host of The Biggest Loser next season,” said the show’s producers in a statement.

Sweeney started hosting after previous host, Caroline Rhea.  Rhea hosted the first three seasons up until 2006, when Sweeney took over and has been hosted ever since.

Sweeney’s other daytime job has lasted the past 20 years on Days of our Lives.

Famous, Celebrity trainer Jillian Michaels, has also left the show. Producers have found trainers to replace her already. As for the host, the position is still vacant and no rumors of possible candidates have been mentioned.

The Biggest Loser has been one of NBC’s top watched and rated shows.
