“Suits” Stars Patrick J. Adams & Sarah Rafferty Set to Debut Rewatch Podcast on SiriusXM

According to Deadline, Thirteen years post its debut on USA Network and nearly a year following its unexpected summer success, Suits leads Patrick J. Adams (Clara, Old School) and Sarah Rafferty (The Devil Wears Prada, Chicago Med) are set to delve into the series once more – this time, through a podcast.

Both actors have committed to co-host a fresh podcast venture for SiriusXM, revisiting the show through a rewatch series.

Adams portrayed the character of Mike Ross, a sharp-witted individual who maneuvered his path into the esteemed law firm of Pearson Hardman. Meanwhile, Rafferty embodied the role of Donna Paulsen, serving as both a legal secretary and a trusted confidante to Gabriel Macht’s (The Good Shepherd, Love & Other Drugs) character, Harvey Specter. Together, they’ll dissect every episode of the show, offering insider insights and exclusive behind-the-scenes anecdotes about the series’ production.

The duo will be accompanied by fellow cast members, crew members, as well as avid fans of the show, which enjoyed a nine-season tenure on the NBC Universal cable network. This initiative follows the legal drama’s remarkable achievement of breaking streaming records upon its acquisition by Netflix.

This triumph not only reignited widespread interest in the series but also resulted in appearances by the duo, alongside Macht and Gina Torres (Firefly, 9-1-1: Lone Star), at the Golden Globes. Moreover, it served as a catalyst for the pilot order of Suits: L.A., a spinoff conceived by creator Aaron Korsh (The Deep End, Pearson).

This yet-to-be-named podcast joins a host of others dedicated to revisiting classic shows, spurred by the surge in availability of older content on streaming platforms, prompting cast members to share their behind-the-scenes tales. Notable examples include Susie Essman (Bolt, Broad City) and Jeff Garlin (The Goldbergs, WALL-E) co-hosting a new podcast centered on Curb Your Enthusiasm, alongside rewatch podcasts for series such as Prison Break, Friday Night Lights, Grimm, The Hills, Veep, and Supernatural.

SiriusXM is also responsible for producing rewatch podcasts such as Office Ladies and Parks & Recollection.

The upcoming podcast will be crafted by SiriusXM’s Stitcher Studios, with Kimmie Gregory, Cassi Jerkins, and Kristin Shrader taking on production duties. Co-created and co-hosted by Adams and Rafferty, the show’s executive producers include Adam Sachs, Codi Fischer, and Colin Anderson on behalf of SiriusXM.

“On the heels of the record breaking Suits resurgence, it feels like the perfect time to rewatch the show that changed our lives,” Adams and Rafferty said. “We are thrilled to collaborate with the incredible team at SiriusXM and look forward to connecting with our friends from the cast and crew, as well as the Suits fans who made it all possible.”

“As we continue SiriusXM’s mission to bring listeners closer to the stars they love, we are excited to team up with Patrick and Sarah to launch this new podcast dedicated to diving deep on a TV show with a passionate, record-setting audience,” said SVP of Podcast Content at SiriusXM, Adam Sachs. “Through their work on the series, the beloved co-stars have developed an off-camera friendship that we know will be a treat for Suits fans, new and old. We can’t wait for you to listen.”

Rafferty is represented by Charlton Blackburne Management, Greene Talent, and Felker, Toczek, Suddleson & Abramson. Adams is represented by CAA, The Rosenzweig Group, and attorney Lev Ginsburg.
