The Hollywood Reporter, Rick Hoffman (London Calling) is set to reprise his role Suits role as Louis Litt in Suits LA. Hoffman will be seen in one episode of the new NBC spinoff with a possibility of being in more if the series continues. Hoffman was part of the Suits series for a total of nine seasons.
This is the second return of one of the original Suits members as recently Gabriel Macht (A Love Song for Bobby Long) who plays Harvey Spector was stated also to be making an appearance in the new spinoff. Creator Aaron Korsh (Pearson) told The Hollywood Reporter last month during the Los Angeles premiere that brining back Macht “seemed like a perfect fit” because “Ted was a prosecutor in New York, Harvey was a prosecutor in New York.”
Suits LA takes place at the Black Lane law firm founded by Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor and Stuart Lane, a similarly hot-shot attorney with deep roots in Los Angeles’ legal world.
The cast of the series includes Stephen Amell (Arrow) as Ted Black, Lex Scott Davis (Florida Man) as Erica Rollins, Josh McDermitt (The Walking Dead) as Stuart Lane, Bryan Greenberg (How to Make It in America) as Rick Dodsen, Troy Winbush (The Bonfire of the Vanities) as Kevin, Rachelle Goulding (Reginald the Vampire) as Samantha and many others.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, when asked if more Suits cast members will be making an appearance in the new series Korsh added that he “wanted to make sure it was an organic bringing people in, not just a parade of old characters.” However, “I would love to have them all on, but I don’t want to have them all on one after the other because I think it harms the original and the new show to do that. So we’re just going to see how it goes.”
Suits LA started airing on NBC on February 23 with new episodes coming out every Sunday. The series is also available to stream on Peacock.
