Stephenie Meyer’s ‘The Chemist’ Coming to Television

Twilight author Stephenie Meyer’s adult novel The Chemist will be brought to the small screen by Tomorrow Studios. Meyer and Meghan Hibbett will produce the series under their Fickle Fish Films company according to Deadline.com.

The Chemist, published in 2016, tells the tale of a female U.S. government operative with no identity who finds herself on the hit list of her employers. The book has sold over a million copies in the States alone. The Twilight series placed her on the map globally selling more than 100 million copies in more than 50 countries.

The Fickle Fish partners have also been busy with Austenland and new production to be released, Down a Dark Hall. Tomorrow Studies, a joint venture of Marty Edelstein and ITV Studios, is responsible for the TNT drama, Good Behavior.
