The actor, who plays Bill in the HBO series, is set to direct a “pivotal” episode of the final season, says TVLine.
Moyer will be directing the premiere episode of the 7th and final season of the show, an episode which is expected to set the path for the entire season.
It’ll be the third time that the British actor will be directing an episode of the show, since he has already directed one in season 5 and another in season 6.
True Blood‘s final run will begin production in January and will premiere somewhere in June.
Until then, Moyer can be seen as Captain Von Trapp in NBC’s three-hour remake of The Sound of Music, alongside Carrie Underwood.
