Starz Sitcom ‘Party Down’ Reveals Season Three Teaser & Premiere Date

According to ComicBook , Starz sitcom Party Down has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming season three that also features the premiere date of the series. The teaser reveals many of the original cast in their Party Down wardrobe returning for the series revival after ten years since the series ended. Adam Scott (Severance, Ghostwriter), Jane Lynch (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Weakest Link), Ryan Hansen (Who Invited Them, A Million Little Things), Ken Marino (The Other Two, Black Monday), Megan Mullally ( The Great North, Bob’s Burger), and Martin Starr (Silicon Valley, Tulsa King) have all returned to reprise their roles in the series. 

Party Down is a sitcom that aired between 2009 to 2010 on Starz and was written by John Enbom(Izombie, The Good Doctor), Rob Thomas (The Lost Boys, I Mom So Hard), Dan Etheridge (The Lost Boys, Veronica Mars), and Paul Rudd (Ant-Man and the Wasp, Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers). The series follows a group of six wannabe actors that move to Los Angeles to make it big but end up working at a catering company to make ends meet.

ComicBook claims that the president and CEO at Starz Jeffrey Hirsch, stated “The fan demand for a Party Down revival is clear and we look forward to what Rob, Paul, John, Dan and now Adam will do as they bring this special project and these hilarious characters back to life.” It is also stated, that after ten years they are very excited to have the cast back to reprise their roles many of who are now very popular award-winning stars. 

The third season will consist of six episodes and starts the season 10 years after season two’s end. Ten years later the Party Down catering team reunites as they find themselves once again enduring random parties and peculiar guests in the city of Los Angeles. 

Many fans can catch the return of Party Down when it premieres on February 24th.
