NBC’s Chicago Fire spinoff Chicago PD is adding two new regulars to the show, explains The Hollywood Reporter.
One Tree Hill alum Sophia Bush and The 4400’s Patrick Flueger have joined the drama as series regulars. The spinoff aired as a back-door pilot during the first season of Chicago Fire and takes place at the Chicago police department.
Bush will play character Erin Lindsay, a member of the CPD investigative team with an unexpected past. Flueger will play Kyle Ruzek, a hothead rookie plucked from the academy for dangerous, delicate undercover work at the intelligence unit.
Other Chicago PD regulars include Jon Seda and Jesse Lee Soffer. The drama comes from executive producers Dick Wolf, Matt Olmstead, Danielle Gelber, Peter Jankowski, Michael Brandt, Derek Haas and Mark Tinker.
The spinoff series comes from Wolf Films and Universal Television.
