Sebastian Stan (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) is cooking up a storm of anticipation for his role as the Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee in Hulu’s upcoming limited series Pam & Tommy. Over the long weekend, Stan shared photo on his Instagram of him in character as Lee once more, this time wearing a “kiss da cook,” apron, via Entertainment Weekly.
Starring opposite Lily James (Baby Driver), who will portray actress Pamela Anderson (Baywatch), the Hulu series will depict the real life events revolving around the couple’s chaotic relationship in the late 1990s, including when their sex tape was stolen and released online for sale without their permission. Both Stan and James have already turned heads in previously shared behind-the-scenes Instagram posts as they look nearly identical to the real life couple. Stan’s post on Sunday was no exception, with it garnering close to two million likes.

Anderson and Lee got married just four days after they met each other in 1995. Their infamous sex tape which was made during their honeymoon was then stolen and posted on the internet without their consent. The couple gained notoriety instantly and received endless media coverage. They then won their Copy Infringement Lawsuit in 1998 against Internet Entertainment Group, the firm that stole and shared the video.
Stan first shared behind-the-scenes look at the series three weeks ago, when he posted a photo of himself and James in character. The resemblance was uncanny, with the picture instantly trending on various social media platforms as many couldn’t believe their eyes. See the pair in character on set below from Stan’s instagram:
In addition to Stan and James, the series will also co-star Seth Rogen (An American Pickle), Nick Offerman (The Great North), Taylor Schilling (Orange is the New Black), Andrew Dice Clay (A Star is Born), Pepi Sonuga (Ash Vs. Evil Dead), Mozhan Marnò (House of Cards), and Spencer Granese (Better Call Saul). The series is directed by Craig Gillsepsie (Cruella), who previously worked with Stan on his 2017 film, I, Tonya.
