Season Three of Fox’s ‘The Cleaning Lady’ Starring Kate del Castillo Adds Clayton Cardenas to the Cast

According to Deadline, Clayton Cardenas (American Crime, Mayans M.C.) has joined the cast of the third season of Fox’s The Cleaning Lady. Cardenas will star alongside Kate del Castillo (Bad Boys for Life, Under the Same Moon).

The Cleaning Lady is about Thony De La Rosa, a doctor from Cambodia who moves to the United States of America to have her sick son treated. Thony must treat her son herself after she is failed by the U.S. healthcare system. She uses atypical and potentially unethical measures to try to save her family, involving herself in the Las Vegas underground crime scene.

Thony De La Rosa is by Élodie Yung (Daredevil, Gods of Egypt). According to Deadline, Cardenas will portray Dante, the intense and trustworthy lieutenant of Castillo’s character, Ramona. Dante’s only priority is keeping the business safe and is bothered by Thony.

Santiago Cabrera (Star Trek: Picard: The Musketeers) was also added to the cast recently. She will be portraying Ramona’s brother, Jorge.

Along with Cardenas, del Castillo, and Cabrera, The Cleaning Lady cast also includes Martha Millan (The Great New Wonderful, The OA) as Fiona De La Rosa, Adan Canto (Designated Survivor, Agent Game) as Arman Morales, Eva De Dominic (The Fragility of Bodies, Tiger, Blood in the Mouth) as Nadia, Sean Lew (Sam & Cat, Bizaardvark) as Chris, Oliver Hudson (Rules of Engagement, Splitting Up Together) as Garrett Miler, Liza Weil (Gilmore Girls, How to Get Away with Murder) as Katherine Russo, Sebastien LaSalle (The Cleaning Lady) as Luca, and Naveen Andrews (Lost, The Dropout) as Robert Kamdar.

The Cleaning Lady is developed by Miranda Kwok (Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, Jane Doe), who showruns the series along with Jeannine Renshaw (Grey’s Anatomy, Good Girls). The two executively produce with Paola Suarez (The Delinquents, It Was Always Me: Behind the Story) and Rose Marie Vega (Body Hunters, MILLY Queen of Merengue). David Dean Portelli (Locker Room, Jawbreaker) and Shay Mitchell (You, Pretty Little Liars) serve as executive consultants.
